In this 60 minute talk, Martin examines one of Britain’s finest and most recognised painters. He looks at Constable’s development and struggles as an artist, and his responses to a changing world of the early nineteenth century. Using original photographs from studies and lesser known works, he looks at some of his best loved works from the east of England, Salisbury and Brighton.
